About the Clinic & Who We Serve

New Beginnings Wellness Clinic provides personalized, provider-led care for adults 18 and older — women and men alike, at any stage of life. There’s no upper age limit. Whether you’re navigating early changes or looking to reclaim your energy later in life, care here starts with understanding you: your history, your labs, and your goals.

No. Our hormone therapies are focused on restoring your body’s natural balance and helping you feel like yourself again — they are not gender-transition or gender-affirming treatments. Every therapy is carefully dosed and monitored with regular lab work to keep your levels in the healthy range that’s right for you. If gender-affirming care is what you’re seeking, we’d encourage you to connect with a provider who specializes in that area.

Your Visits & What to Expect

Plan for about an hour. Our nurse practitioner takes the time to truly get to know you — your symptoms, your history, and what you want to feel like again. That unhurried, personal relationship is exactly what makes care here different from a rushed 10-minute appointment.

Lab draws are quick — usually about 10 minutes.

Yes — we offer both virtual and in-person visits. We do prefer to see you in person for your first few visits so we can establish your care, and at least one in-office visit each year is required. From there, we’ll find the rhythm that works for you. Onsite lab draws, with results often back within about 48 hours, remain part of what makes your plan so personalized.

Ongoing lab work and follow-ups are part of how we keep your plan working for you — it’s how we fine-tune your care and focus on your whole-body health rather than guessing. The exact rhythm depends on your treatment and where you are in your journey, and your provider will map it out with you personally.

Hormone Therapy (BHRT / HRT)

There’s no upper age cutoff. The right fit depends on you — your health history, your symptoms, and what your labs reveal — which is exactly what your consultation is for. And hormone therapy isn’t only about menopause; it’s about helping your body find balance at whatever stage you’re in.

Yes. Sexual wellness is often a natural result of getting your hormones back in balance — and we support it directly. For men, Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) can support libido, energy, strength, motivation, and mental clarity, and we also offer medications to aid sexual health where appropriate. Your provider will talk through the right options for you during your consultation.

Yes. We provide thyroid replacement therapy along with an in-depth look at how your thyroid is actually functioning. Thyroid health is a key part of the full hormone picture, and your plan is tailored to what your comprehensive labs reveal.

These are important, personal questions — and the honest answer is that they depend on your individual health, which is why we don’t offer specific medical guidance through the website or chat. What we can promise is that your provider will walk you through the benefits, risks, and possible side effects of any therapy in plain language, using your own labs and history, so you can make a confident, informed decision.

Hormone Delivery & Testosterone

There’s no one-size-fits-all schedule — your treatment is built around you. We offer several delivery methods, including creams, troches, injectables, and pellets, and your provider designs an individualized plan that best suits your needs and lab results.

At home. We don’t perform routine in-office injections. Instead, we walk you through a hands-on tutorial for your first injection, and from there you’ll self-administer comfortably at home.

Pellet Therapy

Hormone pellets typically last about 3 to 6 months, depending on your body and lifestyle. Your provider will time follow-ups so your levels stay steady.

No — once placed, pellets can’t be removed. They’re designed to release their hormones gradually and dissolve on their own over time, which is why your provider carefully personalizes your dose before insertion.

Not right away. To protect the insertion site, we ask that you avoid swimming, bathing, and exercise for 5 days after your pellet procedure, and limit bending, lifting, and twisting for 3–5 days. If you’d like to swim or bathe sooner, we can apply a skin glue that allows you to do so the same day. You’ll receive clear aftercare instructions at your appointment.

Weight Loss & GLP-1 Options

Yes. Our weight-loss programs are nonsurgical and medically guided — and can include medication-assisted options such as GLP-1s, along with nutrition and lifestyle support — all built around your labs and your goals, not a generic plan.

Yes — we offer both oral and injectable GLP-1 options, so your plan can fit your preferences and how your body responds.

When it’s appropriate for your plan, we can send your prescription to your local pharmacy and work to get it covered — coverage depends on your insurance carrier and their prescribing criteria. If it isn’t covered, we also offer a compounded GLP-1 option on a cash-pay basis, so cost doesn’t have to stand between you and your goals.

Yes. We provide basic nutrition and exercise recommendations as part of your plan, informed by your lab work — and if you’d like more specialized guidance, we can refer you to a nutritionist and/or personal trainer.

Peptide Therapy

Peptide therapy is something we prefer to explore with you personally, during a consultation — so any recommendation truly fits your health profile and goals rather than a one-size-fits-all list. If you’re curious whether it’s a good fit for you, let’s set up a time to talk.

Aesthetics & Skin

Sometimes, yes. If your acne is hormonally related, we may have treatment options as part of balancing your hormones — and if a concern is better handled by a specialist, we’re glad to refer you to dermatology. Our aesthetic services also include options such as wrinkle relaxers, dermal fillers, Sculptra®, and laser hair removal.

Labs & Testing

We offer blood, saliva, and DUTCH (dried urine) testing. A blood test gives us a single data point, while saliva and dried-urine testing give us four data points across the day — a fuller picture of how your cortisol is really behaving, so we can get to the root of how you feel.

Yes — we’re glad to review lab results from an outside facility. Onsite lab draws are available too, with results often back within about 48 hours.

Payment & Insurance

New Beginnings is a concierge, self-pay practice — we don’t bill insurance for our care, which is what lets us spend real, unhurried time with you and build your plan around your needs rather than billing codes. One note: prescriptions we send to a local pharmacy can often be run through your insurance for the medication itself, though not every medication can be filled that way.

Yes — you’re welcome to use your HSA or FSA card to pay for your care.

Yes — we accept CareCredit, so you have a flexible option for financing your care.
