1. Scope
This notice explains what information New Beginnings Wellness Clinic (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects when you use nbwclinic.com, with particular focus on two things: our website analytics and our on‑site AI chat assistant, “Lux.” It works together with our cookie policy.
2. Cookies and your choices
We use a cookie‑consent banner so you can accept or decline non‑essential cookies and change your preference at any time through the banner or the “Manage Preferences” control. 3. Website analytics
We use analytics tools, including Google Analytics, to understand how visitors find and use our site so we can improve it. Subject to your cookie choice, these tools may collect information such as the pages you view, the links and buttons you interact with, the approximate region you visit from (derived from your IP address), and general details about your device and browser. This information is used in aggregate to measure and improve the website. If you decline non‑essential cookies, analytics tracking is gated off accordingly.
4. The AI chat assistant (“Lux”)
Lux is an automated assistant that answers questions about New Beginnings Wellness Clinic using information published on our website. When you use the chat, we may collect:

Keeping a record of conversations. To help us understand how visitors use the assistant and improve its accuracy, we may retain a record of chat conversations. When we do, records are stored securely within our own website systems and are automatically deleted after 30 days. A short notice appears in the chat when this is active.
This is tied to your cookie choice. Conversation recording is treated as a non‑essential (analytics) activity. If you decline non‑essential cookies, your chat conversation is not recorded. Submitting the contact form is a separate, deliberate action: if you fill it in, we use those details to contact you regardless of your analytics choice.
How your chat messages are processed
To generate a reply, the text of your message and relevant content from our website are sent to our secured AI processing service, which uses a third‑party AI model provider (OpenAI) to produce the response. These providers act as our processors for generating replies. We do not sell your information and we do not use your chat messages to build advertising profiles.
5. How we use this information
We use this information to respond to your questions, follow up on requests you submit, operate and secure the website and chat, prevent abuse or spam, and improve the website and the assistant.
6. Important limits — please do not share sensitive health information
Lux provides general information only and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Please do not enter sensitive personal or health information (such as symptoms, conditions, or medications) into the chat. If you have a medical question, contact our team directly. The chat is not monitored in real time and is not for emergencies — if you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911; if you are in crisis, call or text 988 (the U.S. Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).
7. Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law. Contact/lead details are retained according to our normal business record practices. Chat conversation records, when kept, are automatically deleted after 30 days.
8. Your rights
You can manage or withdraw cookie consent at any time through our banner or “Manage Preferences” control. You may also contact us to ask what information we hold about you, to request a correction or deletion, or to ask us not to contact you further. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, which we will honor as required.
9. Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to it.
10. Children
Our website and chat are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
